With a new school year right around the corner, our Good Samaritan community came together in a big way to support our local students!

Through our collective efforts for the annual CCSA Backpack Drive, we donated a grand total of 77 backpacks to help our youngest San Diego neighbors in need start the school year off right.

It was a beautiful demonstration of the body of Christ working together—in fact, our wonderful volunteers filled all 77 backpacks in just 10 to 15 minutes!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to every single person in the Good Sam community who contributed—whether you donated funds, purchased school supplies, bought full backpacks, or lent a hand to pack them.

We’d also like to extend special gratitude to:

• Kiely James and her family for leading and organizing the drive.
• Gary Chun for coordinating the transportation and handling the logistics to drop off the carloads of backpacks.
• Mother Martha for blessing the backpacks and surrounding this effort in prayer before they were delivered.

It was a truly special day together. All of us at Good Samaritan pray that the children receiving these backpacks have a joyful, inspired, and blessed school year!
