Sunday Morning Services
8:00 am
A quiet contemplative offering that feels more intimate, given the small group that gathers. Some music helps center us, although we generally don’t sing. The service includes prayer, scripture reading, a sermon and communion. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion.
10:00 am
The choir helps to prepare us with a prelude and a word of welcome. The choir continues to lead our music throughout worship, encouraging us to sing along. This service follows the same pattern of prayer, scripture reading, a sermon and communion. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion.
Children at Good Sam
Children and families are welcome. We have childcare and Sunday School as described below. Children are also welcome to remain with their families throughout the services.
Childcare is available in our nursery Sundays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Sunday School (pre-school through middle school) is offered during the 10:00 am service during the school year. Children will be invited forward for a “Children’s Moment” early in the service, then excused for Sunday School. They will rejoin us later in the service.
Coffee Hour
Coffee Hour is an enjoyable opportunity for conversation and snacks in the Nursery following the 8 am service and in Roetter Hall following the 10 am service. Educational forums and speakers may also be scheduled at this time.
