Staying Connected through Lent

As we continue our journey through the season of Lent, the Church invites us into a time of reflection, prayer, and deeper engagement with our faith. This year at Good Sam, one of the ways we are doing that together is through our Wednesday evening gatherings. Each week we share a meal, enjoy time in fellowship, and spend time learning together. Our Lenten series, Rooted in What’s Written, explores the Bible, the Book of Common Prayer, and other resources that can help nurture a faithful life of prayer and engagement with scripture.

After the first session, several members shared that they were interested in participating but were unable to attend in person. In response, I did my best to recreate the first session in the office, and it is now available on our YouTube channel. The session from this past week was recorded and will be posted soon as well. As the series continues, each session will be added to a playlist so they are easy to find and revisit.

Whether you participate in person or online, visiting our YouTube channel can be a helpful way to stay connected with the teaching. If you subscribe to the channel, it will make it easier for you to find new content—and it also helps our videos reach more people. Simple engagement such as liking a video or leaving a comment can help extend the reach of our content and share the life of our church with others.

These small actions are simple ways we can help share the ministry of Good Sam and the love of God with a wider community.

Blessings,
Paul
