In the midst of Holy Week

As Holy Week continues, here are a few reminders, along with some notes as we look ahead to Easter Sunday.

Our Maundy Thursday service this evening will take place in Roetter Hall. We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful liturgy. We do plan to livestream the service, though it may be a bit more limited than usual given the change in setting.

Please note that we will not offer Compline this evening or tomorrow, in order to encourage full participation in our Holy Week services. The noon Good Friday service will be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube, and will remain available to watch later in the day. While the evening service will not be streamed, all are warmly invited to attend in person.

On Saturday, we invite you to attend the Easter Vigil. The service begins at 7 PM outdoors with the kindling of new light. As we move inside, we read and recall God's saving deeds through the generations, then transition to the first Alleluias of Easter.

Looking ahead to Easter Sunday, we invite you to help us extend a warm welcome to guests and to those we may not have seen in some time. As we gather in our Easter best, we are planning a parish photo immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service. All are encouraged to come forward and gather in front of the altar for this shared moment.

Following the photo, children are invited to participate in an Easter egg hunt, and refreshments will be available for everyone. We hope you will plan to stay, and to encourage others—especially our guests—to join us in the celebration.

Blessings,
Paul
