With the November 6th election flooding your mailbox and airwaves one needs to understand the 12 state propositions, 8-10 city propositions and various county propositions. One has an opportunity to learn about these propositions on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 9:00 am in Roetter Hall at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church. The League of Women Voters – San Diego (LWVSD) members have researched all the propositions, their goals, and who has funded each and will share what they have learned. This session will cover the ballot measures. The League only takes positions on the few propositions that their members have studied extensively and come to consensus on.
Come, bring your ballot or paper to take notes. Become informed about each proposition to enable your making an informed choice about your vote. Invite a friend, neighbor as this session is open to the public.
The LWVSD Voters is nonpartisan, (neither supporting nor opposing candidates or political parties at any level of government,) always working on vital issues of concern to members and the public.
We hope you will join us!
