October 4th is the Feast Day for Saint Francis of Assisi.
Given his reputation for caring for all of God's creation and his compassion for animals, it is often the day we offer a blessing of the animals.
Good Sam will offer a "Blessing of the Animals" on

All are welcome: cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and people, too, of course.
You don't need a pet to participate. The gathering will include a short service and individual blessings for those present.
