Our Annual High Tea will be held May 5th at 1:00 pm, and we are looking for table hostesses.
The hostess sets a table for 8 with china/dishes, centerpiece, silverware, etc., from her own home.
You’re not responsible for filling the seats but can invite friends if you wish. This is a fun event and the tables always look so beautiful!
If you would like to sign up or just want to learn more about the tea, please contact Betsy Veneziano at (858) 458-1501 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
SO WHAT’S THE HIGH TEA?
For new parishioners and guests the annual High Tea is an afternoon of fellowship, beautifully laid tables and a scrumptious five course tea for women of all ages in Roetter Hall.
It will be held on Saturday, May 5th, from 1-3 pm. SAVE THE DATE!
Tickets are $20 per person but just $8 for children under 12. Some years we’ve had a children’s table. Five dollars of the $20 will be donated to the Build a Miracle project. Tickets will go on sale in April 9th.
The food is made in house and served by some of the Men’s Group.
To make the High Tea a reality there are lots of opportunities to get involved. Hosting a table is the ultimate contribution to the day and a opportunity to have some fun with your dishes etc. that you might not use often. Your everyday dishes are a possibility as well. Some hostesses like to share the hosting fun. Volunteering to assist in food preparation is always appreciated and another chance to get to know other women.
If you want more details, talk with Betsy Veneziano, Susan Betts or anyone who has attended one of our eight previous teas. Don’t miss the chance to have a leisurely afternoon with wonderful folks.
